On the night of the 23rd of February 2019 several fires were declared on the island of Corsica, France. The worst of these fires lies to the south of Calenzana, Haute-Corse Department, where many hectares are reported as burnt (French Civil Security). At present, the fire is heading towards Bonifato Forest. The service is requested to monitor this fire as or if it evolves.
