Special Eurobarometer 364: Public Awareness and Acceptance of CO2 capture and storage

On average, only 10% of Europeans have heard of CO2 capture and storage, while 58% have heard of solar photovoltaics, according to the first Eurobarometer survey on CO2 capture and storage (CCS). 83% of respondents think CO2 emissions have a high impact on climate change, but they need better information about the options for reducing CO2 emissions that are covered by EU low-carbon energy policies.
