Visualisation catalogue

The catalogue is a collection of visualisation tools, trainings and re-usable visualisations for all levels of data visualisation expertise, from beginner to expert.

Tool

A desktop geographic information system, which also provides a spatial file browser, a server application, and web applications. Among others, it allows creating, editing, visualising, analysing and publishing geospatial information on Windows, Mac, Linux, and BSD.

Tool

Power BI is a Data Visualization and Business Intelligence tool that converts data from different data sources to interactive dashboards and BI reports. Power BI suite provides multiple software, connector, and services - Power BI desktop, Power BI service based on Saas, and mobile Power BI apps available for different platforms. These set of services are used by business users to consume data and build BI reports.

OpenStreetMap powers map data on thousands of websites, mobile apps, and hardware devices.

MATLAB is a programming language developed by MathWorks. It started out as a matrix programming language where linear algebra programming was simple. It can be run both under interactive sessions and as a batch job. MATLAB proposes toolbox for specific applications like statistics analysis, machine learning and finance.

Mathematica is the creation of Stephen Wolfram. At the heart of Mathematica is a computer algebra system, that is, a system for doing algebraic manipulations symbolically (and therefore exactly). However, Mathematica also incorporates floating point (or finite precision) computation, arbitrary precision arithmetic, graphics, and text processing. It is also a programming environment.
