Visualisation catalogue

The catalogue is a collection of visualisation tools, trainings and re-usable visualisations for all levels of data visualisation expertise, from beginner to expert.

HighCharts (CHRT)

HichCharts is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG, with fall-backs to VML and canvas for old browsers.

Statistics Illustrated

The "Statistics Illustrated" section allows understanding Eurostat's data by means of dynamic data visualisations. A combination of maps and charts shows the development of an indicator over time as well as differences between Member States. This helps e.g. to discover tendencies and patterns.

Tableau Public is a free service that allows publishing interactive data visualisations online. The data visualisations published to Tableau Public (“vizzes”) can be embedded into webpages and blogs, shared via social media or email, and made available for download to other users. Visualisations are created in the accompanying app Tableau Desktop Public Edition (or another Edition of Tableau Desktop). Creating visualisations with Table does not require any programming skills.
