Here you can find comparative information on children in criminal judicial proceedings - comparative information on custody pre-trial and other forms of deprivation of liberty prior to trial for all the EU28 Member States on the basis of information collected from national and international databases. The data is available on e.g:
-Existence of alternatives to pre-trial detention for all children above the MACR;
Statutory provision on the right of child (suspected) offenders to contact their parents or a person whom they trust whenever they are apprehended by the police;
Percentage of children who were given the opportunity to contact their parents before being questioned by the police;
Percentage of children who were interviewed by the police in the presence of a parent or trusted person;
