ScanR helps users filter their searches and find researchers that focus on their topic of interest.
ScanR is a French organisation that provides a search engine linking different public and private Research and Development entities with a current or ongoing problem. In addition, ScanR helps users to identify and characterise the different public institutions and private companies by providing information about the nearly 35,000 research actors within France. This information is extracted from the various institutions' websites and open-sourced data. This information includes data on publications, their involvement in collaborative research projects and patents.
ScanR is one of the over 400 use cases published on the European Data Portal. If you are aware of another inspiring use case, share your experience and knowledge about different applications and websites using open data with the EDP via mail, Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
