Join the NYC Open Data Week
From 5 to 13 March 2022 the City of New York organises the annual Open
Data Week [https://www.open-data.nyc/].

Since the first edition, the NYC Open Data Week has brought together
data enthusiasts to celebrate New York City’s Open Data Law
[https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doitt/initiatives/open-data-law.page],
established in 2012. Hosted by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Data
Analytics [https://www1.nyc.gov/site/analytics/index.page], BetaNYC
[http://beta.nyc/], and Data Through Design
[https://2020.datathroughdesign.com/2021], this year marks the 10th
anniversary of the event.

The event will be a week-long festival with workshops, talks, panel
discussions, and demos, but also hackathons, mapathons, art
installations, and exhibitions. There will be, for example, a data
visualisation art exhibition and a civic tech conference.

Organisers and participants belong to a variety of sectors such as
academia, non-profit, private sector, civic tech, think tanks, tech
incubators, and thought leaders.

Registration for the event will open soon. Subscribe to stay up to
date [https://www.open-data.nyc/] on everything related to the event
and be notified once registration opens.
