Join the information session on the call for proposals for
public-sector open data for Artificial Intelligence
On Wednesday, 23 March, you can join an online information session on
the European Commission’s call for proposals for public-sector open
data for Artificial Intelligence. Besides explaining how to
participate, this session helps connect potential consortium partners,
giving participants a chance for a two-minute pitch.

The goal of the grants available from this call is to support public
administrations at local, regional and national levels to increase
semantic, technical and legal interoperability with the High Value
Datasets (HVDs) as described by the Open Data Directive
[https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=celex:32019L1024].
This includes data from six categories: Geospatial, Earth observation
and environment, Meteorological, Statistics, Companies and company
ownership, or Mobility.  Grants offer 50% funding for projects that
generate new High Value Datasets and create new APIs. The respective
proposals should also contribute to broader goals of the Digital
Europe Programme (DEP)

The call for proposals was launched on 22 February 2022 and is open
until 17 May 2022. More information can be found on the EU Funding &
Tender Portal
