The European Youth Event: Meet young people from across Europe on 13
and 14 June
On 13–14 June 2025, the European Parliament in Strasbourg will host
the sixth edition of the European Youth Event (EYE2025)
[https://european-youth-event.europarl.europa.eu/en/], bringing
together thousands of young people from across Europe and beyond. This
unique gathering offers participants aged 16 to 30 the chance to
engage directly with policymakers, activists, and fellow changemakers
through a vibrant programme of debates, workshops, artistic
performances, and interactive sessions.

A highlight of the event is the EYE Village
[https://european-youth-event.europarl.europa.eu/files/live/sites/eye/files/pdfs/eye2025-presentation-v.5.pdf],
a dynamic outdoor space surrounding the Parliament where participants
can explore exhibitions, enjoy live performances, and connect with
youth organisations and EU institutions in an informal setting. With
three thematic tracks — Engage, Empower, and Connect — EYE2025
invites young Europeans to deepen their understanding of EU democracy,
develop civic skills, and build lasting networks.

This year, the data.europa.eu [https://data.europa.eu/en] team will
also be present at EYE2025, showcasing how open data empowers youth
participation and innovation. Through interactive activities and live
demos, participants will discover how to access and use EU open data
to drive social change, support research, and create digital tools
that benefit communities. It is a unique opportunity to explore the
intersection of data, democracy, and youth engagement.

Participation is possible both online and on-site, with registrations
for the latter now closed. If you have missed this, some activities on
the EYE Village will still be available for on-the-spot registering,
and more information about online participation will be available
soon. Sign up and explore the full programme on the official EYE2025
website [https://european-youth-event.europarl.europa.eu/en/], and be
part of Europe’s future!
