EU Datathon webinar with the European Environment Agency
On 6 May, the EU Datathon 2021 [http://op.europa.eu/eudatathon] hosted
their first webinar on the Natura 2000 dataset. The dataset was
presented by Brian Mac Sharry from the European Environment Agency
[https://www.eea.europa.eu/] and can be used for Challenge 1: “A
European Green Deal”.

The EU Datathon is an annual open data competition open to data
enthusiasts worldwide. To enter the competition, participants are
invited to send ideas for applications that use open datasets and
address one of three thematic challenges, aligned with the priorities
of the European Commission. Selected teams will have 19 weeks to turn
their ideas into functional apps and will compete for up to 18 000 €
in the finals of the competition. Share your idea and enter the EU
Datathon before 21 MAY 2021.
