Aporta Challenge is open for applications!
The Spanish national open data portal [https://datos.gob.es/] has
opened the call for the 4th edition of the yearly Aporta Challenge
[https://datos.gob.es/en/eventos/open-period-participate-iv-aporta-challenge-focused-health-and-well-being-sector].
This competition seeks to identify and recognise new ideas and
prototypes that make a specific sector more effective and efficient,
by using open data and data intelligence. This year’s focus is on
the health and well-being sector.

Do you have an idea for an open data solution that will support
citizens in forming and maintaining healthy habits? Improve wellness
outcomes and the patient’s experience? Increase public health and
epidemiological surveillance capacities? Optimise the skills of
healthcare professionals? Or promote research to help discover
healthy patterns and new treatments? Then you can apply! EVERY
INDIVIDUAL, TEAM OR COMPANY LOCATED IN THE EU CAN SUBMIT THEIR
PROPOSAL UNTIL 15 FEBRUARY.

The proposal must make use of at least one open data set from a public
body (national or international) and identify new opportunities to
capture, analyse and use data intelligence to improve health and
well-being. If your idea is selected, you get the opportunity to
develop your prototype and present it to the members of the jury. THE
WINNER STANDS TO WIN €5.000!
