Commission priorities for 2019 –

[https://ec.europa.eu/info/strategy/priorities-2019-2024_en]. With the
European Green Deal, the Commission aims at eliminating greenhouse
gases emissions by 2050 and decoupling economic growth from resource
use, while leaving no person or place behind when trying to accomplish
this.

The Eurostat´s tool allows to monitor 26 key indicators for the
achievement of the European Green Deal´s objectives, such as the net
index of greenhouse gas emissions, the total climate related economic
losses in million or the amount of primary energy consumption.

These indicators, which apply to the EU and EFTA countries are further
divided into three categories: indicators that aim at REDUCING OUR
CLIMATE IMPACT; INDICATORS RELATED TO THE PROTECTION OF OUR PLANET &
HEALTH; and INDICATORS OF ACTIVITIES ENABLING A GREEN & JUST
TRANSITION.

For each of these topics, Eurostat has made the discovering of
statistics as intuitive and user-friendly as possible. For instance,
you can customise the selection of countries and types of graphs to be
displayed, easily access underlying datasets as well as share selected
information on social media.

If you are curious to know how your country is doing in the delivery
of the European Green Deal´s actions, check out this new interactive
tool [https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/cache/egd-statistics/] by
