Join the final event of the EU Datathon 2022 on 20 October
10 days are left until the final event of the EU Datathon 2022
[https://op.europa.eu/en/web/eudatathon] that will be streamed online
to allow teams´ supporters and open data enthusiasts from around the
world to participate.

EU Datathon is the annual EU open data competition organised by the
Publications Office of the European Union
[https://op.europa.eu/en/home].  This year´s edition saw 159 entries
from 38 countries: the highest number so far in the EU Datathon’s
history. Among these 158 entries, 12 teams have been selected for the
finals after two rounds of pre-selection, presided over by the jury of
experts. The teams will compete for a prize money totalling EUR 200
000 and the Public Choice Award. 

The competition is based on four challenges, including the following
finalist teams:

 	* Challenge 1: A European Green Deal – for this challenge the

 	* Challenge 2: Transparency in public procurement – this challenge
will see competing against each other EMMA

 	* Challenge 3: EU public procurement opportunities for young people

Hermix, and YouthPOP

selected;
 	* Challenge 4: A Europe fit for the digital age – 100 Europeans
[https://youtu.be/BwlDKiI6Hjo], Lobium/Gavagai
[https://youtu.be/-FCF8Q7zxzo], and UNIOR NLP
[https://youtu.be/7DzPXEpQnLg] compete to win this challenge.

The final event on 20 October will be opened by the European
Commissioner for budget and administration
