Supervisor [https://www.edps.europa.eu/_en] will co-host the CPDP
Data Protection Day [https://cpdp-dataprotectionday.eu/] in Brussels,
Belgium. This event celebrates the anniversary of Convention 108

era of unprecedented technological innovation.

The conference will delve into issues related to technology,
governance, and privacy, with a focus on the challenges posed by
cutting-edge advancements like artificial intelligence, neuroscience,
and large-scale data analytics. Experts and policymakers will discuss
how to navigate these complexities while maintaining privacy
protections for individuals across Europe and beyond. The event aims
to foster collaboration and dialogue, ensuring that innovation and
regulation progress hand in hand.

Highlights of the programme
[https://cpdp-dataprotectionday.eu/#programme] include panels on "EU
Institutions and Data Protection: What Lies Ahead?" and "Neuroscience
and Data Protection." These sessions will explore the future
trajectory of data governance within the EU and examine the profound
