Introducing Juremy: Enhancing legal translation with trusted EU data
Juremy [https://juremy.com/] is an online bilingual concordance search
tool operating on official EU terminology resources. It offers fast
and customisable phrase searches across the EUR-Lex
[https://eur-lex.europa.eu/homepage.html] and IATE
[https://iate.europa.eu/download-iate] databases in all 552 EU
language pairs. Juremy helps users find the right terms and document
references in context within seconds. With its reliable database and
metadata display, the platform also serves as a verification tool for
assessing the accuracy of machine translation and generative AI
outputs in the post-editing process.

EUR-Lex contributes to the EU’s open data ecosystem by providing
legal documents in machine-readable formats, which are also accessible
through data.europa.eu [https://data.europa.eu/en]. As quoted by
Tímea Palotai-Torzsás, Co-founder and CEO at Juremy Ltd, “_The
EUR-Lex and IATE databases are invaluable resources for finding the
most relevant and accurate terminology and document references within
the context of EU domains. To support the terminology research
workflow of specialised translators and lawyers and to help them
ensure high quality, we import the above datasets into Juremy’s
database regularly and process them to provide fast phrase-based
bilingual search on both EUR-Lex and IATE in all 24 EU
languages._”
