[https://data.europa.eu/en/open-data-maturity/2025] offers a
refreshed, interactive way for policymakers, data professionals and
citizens to explore how European countries are progressing in their
open data journey. Designed to make the yearly assessment easy to
navigate, the interactive website brings together scores, country
profiles and key insights in a single user-friendly interactive
website.

A core functionality of the interactive website is its interactive
visual dashboard. Users can explore country’s maturity scores across
the four dimensions of the assessment – policy
[https://data.europa.eu/en/open-data-maturity/2025#dimensions/dimension_policy],
portal
[https://data.europa.eu/en/open-data-maturity/2025#dimensions/dimension_portal],
quality
[https://data.europa.eu/en/open-data-maturity/2025#dimensions/dimension_quality],
and impact
[https://data.europa.eu/en/open-data-maturity/2025#dimensions/dimension_impact].
The scores are presented through dynamic charts that can be sorted,
grouped or compared. The tool also highlights year-on-year
developments, showing where countries have made the strongest
improvements. With this, users can interpret trends, identify
front-runners, and understand Europe-wide progress at one glance.

Beyond visual dashboards, the open data maturity interactive website
provides access to downloadable files, including images, datasets, and
the full 2025 Open Data Maturity report. It also offers detailed
country profiles indicating each one’s national strengths,
challenges, and strategic directions. This combination of interactive
browsing and open downloads supports transparency and enables deeper
analysis by researchers, journalists, and public sector teams in a
user-friendly environment.

To explore the results, download the report or dive into individual
country profiles, visit the open data maturity 2025 platform on the
European Data Portal [https://data.europa.eu/en]. The portal is open
to everyone, and we encourage you to use the insights to share
knowledge within your organisation and stay engaged with Europe’s
open data transformation.
