correcting certain language versions of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on food additives

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 on food additives (1), and in particular Article 10(3) thereof,
Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1331/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 establishing a common authorisation procedure for food additives, food enzymes and food flavourings (2), and in particular Article 7(5) thereof,
Whereas:

The Danish, Slovak and Slovenian language versions of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 contain errors throughout that Annex as regards the dates of application of the measures. Those errors alter the meaning of the provisions. |

(2) |
The Slovak and Slovenian language versions of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 contain errors in several locations of that Annex as regards identification of meat products. Those errors alter the meaning of the provisions. |

(3) |
The Danish, Slovak and Slovenian language versions of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected. |

The errors were introduced by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2108 (3). Therefore, based on the powers awarded by the European Parliament and the Council to the Commission to amend Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 in Article 10(3) of that Regulation, the Commission adopts this correcting act. |

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed, delivered prior to the adoption of Regulation (EU) 2023/2108, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
