COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2022/799

of 20 May 2022

correcting the Greek language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683 implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regards to the administrative requirements for the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles, amending Regulations (EC) No 715/2007 and (EC) No 595/2009 and repealing Directive 2007/46/EC (1), and in particular Articles 24(4), 28(3) and 36(4) thereof,

Whereas:

The Greek language version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683 (2) contains a repetitive error, an incorrect term in points 6.2.3, 6.2.3.1, 6.2.4 and 6.2.4.1 of Annex I; in Part I, A. Categories M and N, points 6.2.3, 6.2.3.1, 6.2.4 and 6.2.4.1, of Annex II; in Part I, B. Category O, points 6.2.4 and 6.2.4.1, of Annex II; in Appendix 1, Categories M2, M3, N2, N3, point 33, of Annex III; in Appendix, Model B – Part 2, Vehicle categories M2, M3, N2 and N3, point 33, of Annex VIII and in Appendix, Model C2 – Part 2, Vehicle categories M2, M3, N2 and N3, point 33, of Annex VIII that alters the meaning of these provisions.

The Greek language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected.

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Technical Committee – Motor Vehicles (TCMV),

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

(Does not concern the English language)

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
