Überwachung der IKT-Investitionen in der EU
Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien sind ein wesentlicher Innovations- und Wachstumsmotor. Investitionen in diesem Bereich aus dem Europäischen Struktur- und Investitionsfonds (ESIF) dienen zur Ankurbelung des regionalen Wachstums. Allein für IKT-Investitionen stehen im Zeitraum 2014–2020 rund 21,4 Milliarden Euro an ESIF-Mitteln zur Verfügung. Damit die Bürgerinnen und Bürger sehen, wofür die Gelder ausgegeben werden, hat die Gemeinsame Forschungsstelle der Europäischen Kommission das „IKT-Überwachungsinstrument“ entwickelt.
