Open Data in many forms and shapes
Drawingdata, Rheologic and Tei Abstracts are the winners of the Austrian Open Minds Awards 2017. The competition, hosted by Open Knowledge Austria, awarded successful Open Data businesses and projects. It proves that successful Open Data projects come in many forms and shapes.
Drawingdata was acknowledged for its innovative data visualisations on political data. Rheologic's computational fluid dynamics and 3D models impressed the jury, helping spatial planning in urban areas. The Tei Abstracts project by Vanessa Hannesschläger is setting a good example for promoting open research data and offering access to scientific publications.
