Eurostat regional yearbook: from traditional printed publication to modern interactive tool

Join the data.europa academy webinar ‘Eurostat regional yearbook goes digital!’

Europe

Eurostat has been publishing its annual flagship publication, the Eurostat regional yearbook, for over 20 years. However, in times of digitalisation, with changing publication modes and user needs, it became necessary to rethink the format of the publication, including the opportunities and challenges this presented.

In the data.europa academy webinar Eurostat regional yearbook goes digital!’, the Eurostat team will present the journey from a printed/pdf publication with a long-standing tradition to a digital publication and modern interactive tool. We will walk through the different phases with its up’s and down’s, do’s and don’ts, and lessons learned.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, 9 June 2022 from 11:30-12:30 CEST and it will feature as speakers:

  • Teodora Brandmueller, Eurostat Regional and urban statistics, Team Leader;
  • Bianka Fohgrub, Eurostat Project Manager;
  • Louise Corselli-Nordblad, Eurostat Publications and Statistics Explained, Team Leader.

If you would like to participate in the webinar, please sign up through the following registration form.
