MEPTwitter
Over 80% of the members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have a Twitter account and most tweet daily. MEP Twitter collects all current MEPs’ tweets in (almost) real time and has a powerful search facility. But it’s more than a database of tweets – it can generate statistics on trending topics and the most mentioned users over different time periods. It also provides statistics on which political issues have attracted a flurry of tweets and what issues MEPs are discussing at any given time. Find out which MEPs and/or party groups are most active on Twitter and what they’re writing about.
