Open Data meeting for information management in Oslo

Difi hosts a half day seminar on Open Data

The Agency for Public Management and eGovernment Difi (Direktoratet for forvaltning og ikt) invites public and private organisations involved in sharing and using open public data to a half-day seminar on information management. 'Good management of public information implies that public sector organisations have sufficient knowledge about what to offer as Open Data, and how this relates to other data management in the organisation.' (Difi)

To share that knowledge and exchange experiences, selected speakers will present their projects and insights. Heather Bromfield and Atle Sandal (Difi) will introduce their project on sharing data in the public sector. Furthermore, the culture department and the research department will present their national strategies for increasing public disclosure of public data. The presentations mainly will be in Norwegian.
