EU Open Data Days
Inviting experts to contribute to EU DataViz and the EU Datathon this November
In last week’s news, we announced the EU Open Data Days and the call for input from the audience. Now the Publications Office of the European Union invites experts to contribute to the event, which will take place from 23 to 25 November. The EU Open Data Days offer a unique opportunity to meet the open data community, share experience with experts in the field, and explore successful data-driven projects.
- Speak at EU DataViz – the conference on open data and visualisation
Experts in the open data and/or data visualisation field are encouraged to submit a proposal sharing their ideas, successful projects, and best practices. All sectors worldwide are invited to participate, including academia, private entities, journalists, data visualisation professionals, EU institutions, and national public administrations. Submit your proposal before 21 May 2021.
- Compete in the EU Datathon – the annual open data competition
The event is open to data enthusiasts worldwide to submit proposals for open data solutions that demonstrate the value of open data. Solutions or ideas should showcase opportunities for businesses or social enterprises and provide new approaches or solutions to goals that are prioritised by the European Commission. Submit your proposal before 21 May 2021.
