Join the first webinar on ODM 2022 report to learn more about the key insights in open data publication

A webinar on the eighth Open Data Maturity (ODM) report will be organised by data.europa academy on 10 February 2023 at 10.30 to 11.30 CET. This would be the first of a two-part series of webinars to build a deeper understanding of the recent 2022 report among the participants.

The ODM report is based on a self-assessment survey which facilitated in measuring the level of maturity among the EU countries against four dimensions: policy, impact, portal and quality.  According to the score measured, the countries were then clustered into four groups, from the most mature to the least. This will help the open data teams to foster best practices and devise sustainable policies based on the countries’ scores.

Learning objectives of the webinar:

  • ODM assessment and its benefits
  • Highlights of the ODM report and its methodology
  • Results and scores of the 2022 report alongside current and upcoming trends of ODM

The first part of the webinar will be an informative session, where the lead author of the ODM report 2022 will recapitulate is the key concepts behind the report and its importance. Then, an overview of the methodology used in the report will be provided — including where improvements were made, results, key trends and an outlook to the future. The second part of the webinar will be an interactive Q&A session where participants can share any questions they might have. The event will conclude with a summary of the main topics discussed and a feedback survey.
