From 13-15 October, Brussels will host the European Week of Regions and Cities, which is the EU's largest event dedicated to Cohesion Policy. The event allows participants to come together and foster cooperation, knowledge exchange and addressing regional and urban challenges. Cities and regions use this event to present their policies and capacity for growth through workshops and sessions. This year's theme is centred around the motto "Shaping tomorrow, together", as the event focuses also on shaping future trends across Europe.

During the European Week of Regions and Cities, data.europa.eu will provide an interactive workshop on 14 October from 09:30-10:30 in Brussels. In this workshop, participants get to explore the critical role of data in shaping innovative and sustainable urban environments through using real-life examples from European cities. Participants in this workshop will be engaged through interactive tools and participatory techniques to really understand how cities can transform data into action.
