Are you interested in learning more about how open data impacts your life on a daily basis? Then do not miss out on our upcoming data.europa academy webinar! Join us on Friday, 12 December 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET for our session: ‘The final Use Case Observatory: open data with real-world impact’ .

The third and final volume of the Use Case Observatory has recently been published, therefore concluding a three-year research trajectory to assess the impact of open data across Europe. This volume looks at 13 active use cases and provides an analysis of their real-world impact, taking the economic, social, environmental, and governmental perspectives into account. With this, the third edition offers lessons on sustainability and future adoption for users across various sectors.

In this webinar, the key insights from the third volume will be presented, along with two exciting use cases. The first use case, presented by Svenja Osmers from Integreat, will demonstrate an open-source tool which enables refugees across Germany to access information related to essential services in their native language. In the second use case, Antonio Moneo from Tangible Data will explain how his organisation uses 3D-printed and laser-cut sculptures based on open data to make challenges in sustainability tangible.

Want to dive in and see how the Use Case Observatory influences your life? Register now to be part of the conversation!
