User Meeting on Data Sharing
The Dutch National Open Data Portal
On Thursday 5 November, the Dutch National Open Data Portal (data.overheid.nl) held its 25th user meeting on the topic of data sharing. In the webinar session, speakers from the European Data Portal, Amsterdam Economic Board, SURF and the European Union represented by the director of the European Data Portal, for example, presented on:
- the different ways data can be shared;
- the steps that governments, companies, or individuals need to take to safely share data; and
- how the portal can support and facilitate data sharing initiatives.
The Dutch National Data Portal aims to provide resources for data communities, monitor the impact of data, and keep up a user-friendly portal. Through sessions like these, the state of affairs and current developments in the Netherlands can be followed, and ideas on how to move forward can be exchanged.
