Public hearing on the review of the Directive on the re-use of PSI

Unique chance to share your input

The European Commission welcomes participants during its public hearing on the review of the Directive on the re-use of public sector information (PSI Directive). It will take place on 19 January 2018, from 9.30 to 16.30, in Brussels (Belgium).

The meeting will contribute to the European Commission's effort to update the policy framework around PSI re-use and is relevant in the context of the Commission's commitments to provide accessible and re-useable public and publicly funded data, following the May 2017 Mid-term Review of the Digital Single Market Strategy.

The Directive 2003/98/EC on the re-use of public sector information is vital for the European strategy to open up data from governmental organisations. It allows for re-use of data to boost innovative European economies, to steer transparent government, and foster sustainable societal development.

Do you want to contribute to this public hearing and provide input to the review of the Directive on the re-use of public sector information? Please register before 12 January 2018 (limited capacity).
