Expressing Europe's untold data stories
New initiative from members of the European Data Journalism Network
The 15 official partners of the European Data Journalism Network (EDJN) will offer their data stories in more languages. Data driven news stories produced by members of the European Data Journalism Network are now translated into English, French, German, Italian, Polish, and Spanish and will be made available for free to all partner and non-partner news organisations.
Participating news organisations of the EDJN remain responsible for selecting datasets, running their own analyses and crafting relevant data journalism stories. Partner organisation VoxEurop will translate the data stories, along with accompanying charts, graphs and other visualisations. With these translations in place, a substantial proportion of the European public will benefit from reading the untold data stories in their mother tongue.
