Slovenian Statistical Office now harvested by national Open Data portal
The Slovenian Open Data portal expands
As per 6 September 2017, data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia is published on the Slovenian national Open Data portal (OPSI). On the OPSI portal, users can now find metadata descriptions of all registers and collections available to the public sector, which gives them an insight to the functioning of the country. Users can access the Open Data, can just view them or create new stories with them.
The statistical data prepared by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia currently represent 3.367 collections. The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia is the main contractor and coordinator of the activities of the Slovenian state statistics. Its mission is to provide the users with statistical data on the situation and trends on an economic, demographic, social and environmental field.
Slovenia is one of the few European countries that also publishes statistical data of the State Statistical Office on its Open Data portal. There are about 4.000 records, collections, statistical tables currently published on the OPSI portal.
