DCAT and DCAT-AP trainings

The Publications Office of the European Union invites data providers and data publishers to a series of trainings on the Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT), and the Application Profile for data portals in Europe (DCAT-AP), that the EU Open Data Portal and the European Data Portal make use of.
A key requirement for data to be re-used is that it is easy to find. Publishing data and describing it well is crucial for people as well as machines to be able to use and re-use it. Data providers and publishers who aim to make data finable and accessible to everyone can greatly benefit from these trainings.
In three sessions for basic and advanced users, Makx Dekkers, an information technology expert presents everything there is to know about DCAT and DCAT-AP and hosts:
- A general introduction for users without prior knowledge on 8 March from 10:00 - 11:15 CET
- A basic training for users with some knowledge on 22 March 2021 from 10:00 - 11:15 CET
- An advanced training for users with working experience on 19 April 2021 from 10:00-11:15 CET
