Take part in the survey of the European Commission on Earth Observation and geospatial companies in Europe
The European geospatial industry may be at a turning point in 2018, as major initiatives gain momentum, such as Copernicus, EuroGEOSS, and INSPIRE. Simultaneously, there is a substantial increase in investment from the private sector in space and geospatial services across the world. In the coming years, the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G networks will make location-based products and services even more critical for economic and social development. At this stage therefore, monitoring and understanding change in the geospatial sector is crucial. For this reason, the European Commission Joint Research Centre, Digital Economy Unit is conducting a study on Earth Observation and geospatial companies in Europe. Take five minutes to complete the survey, carried out by Geospatial Media+Communication on behalf of the European Commission here by 31 March and support research and development in the geospatial sector.
