Italy hosts Turkey to discuss Open Data
Spotted on the Italian Open Data Portal dati.gov.it:
A delegation from the Turkish Government visited the national portal of Open Data run by the Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale AgID (AgID). The three-day meeting was dedicated to discussing the main initiatives undertaken in Italy on the subject of open government, Open Data and the accountability of the public administration. The agenda of the visit included an in-depth analysis of the governance and the role of AgID, on the national legislation and on the data portal.gov.it. The meeting was co-organized by the Italian Authority for Electronic Communications (Agcom) with the support of TAIEX, the EU's technical assistance and information exchange tool.
