Two weeks until the European Week of Regions and Cities

Save the date and join the European Data Portal (EDP) at the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) - an annual four-day event where experts, academics, and officials from regions and cities' administrations across Europe can exchange best practices and information on regional and urban development. The event acts as a knowledge platform for official communication on the development of EU cohesion policy and to raise awareness of decision-makers about how regions and cities matter in EU policymaking. This year, the event will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 7 to 10 October 2019.

The EDP will be speaking and hosting a workshop on Wednesday 9 October.

• Register and discover how our team promotes the publication and reuse of open data across Europe in the session "The European Data Portal (EDP) for accessing public open data across Europe" at 9:30 to 10:30 CEST.
• Register and discuss digital literacy and skills, data collection and data re-use, and how data inclusivity can be increased in rural areas with us in our workshop about "Open data and rural regions and cities" at 16:30 to 19:00 CEST.
