Activation reason:
The Caribbean is currently facing a phenomenon of sargasse algae bloom. These algae are invading the shores of Guadeloupe, Saint Martin, Saint Barthelemy, and Martinique, impacting the coastlines. Their accumulation has disastrous consequences on the environment and health while also threatening the economy. The evaluation of the extension of the phenomenon is of prime importance for the regional authorities
