Kirjeldus
In the light of the priorities set in the Hague Programme, the European Commission’s Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security has commissioned a poll on EU citizens’ views on the role of the European Union in these areas. Interviews were conducted face-to-face in respondents’ homes, in their national language, between June 7 and July 12, 2006. In order to explore citizens’ opinion on EU responsibilities in the fields of justice and home affairs comprehensively, for each theme addressed, our analysis looks at the: • European Union as a whole; • Individual countries; • Socio-demographic variables.
The results by volumes are distributed as follows:

- Volume AA: Groups of countries
- Volume A' (AP): Trends
- Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries
- Volume B: EU/socio-demographics
- Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics
