Activation reason:
Since 23 of August, a forest fire has been burning in Brandenburg between the towns of Treuenbrietzen and of Jüterborg, spreading quickly overnight to engulf 400 hectares. Authorities advised residents of Berlin, Potsdam and neighbouring administrative districts to keep windows and doors shut due to smoke. More than 500 residents were evacuated to emergency shelters on 24 of August as the flames threatened to engulf three villages.
