The European Commission’s Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security has commissioned a new poll on EU citizens’ views on the role of the European Union in JLS areas. Interviews were conducted face-to-face in the 27 Member States of the European Union in respondents’ homes, in their national language, between November 9 and December 14, 2007. 1. The role of the European Union in Justice, Freedom and Security policy areas 1.1. Decision-making at European level in JLS policy areas 1.2. EU priorities in JLS policy areas 2. Information about Justice, Freedom and Security policy areas 2.1. Feeling well informed about JLS policies 2.2. The desire for more information about JLS policies
