Today, the EU Industry Days kick off!
Today, the 2023 EU Industry Days have begun in Malaga, Spain, a fitting location as Spain has recently assumed the Presidency of the European Council. The EU Industry Days represent Europe's premier annual event dedicated to key discussions on industrial policy, facilitating connections among industry leaders, and enhancing the knowledge base of European businesses.
The Industry Days will take place throughout the entire day from 4 October to 6 October and each day features its own unique schedule and agenda. During this year’s edition, a variety of sessions will be held focussing on the main drivers, opportunities and challenges of the green, digital, and resilient transition, the EU open strategic autonomy, the integration of Ukraine into the single market and the reinforcement of the EU defence industry capacity.
The 2023 edition offers attendees a unique chance to connect with fresh collaborators through matchmaking, gain insights from industry experts regarding EU initiatives designed to support industrial stakeholders with expertise and financial backing, and explore a diverse exhibition highlighting new technologies and inventive solutions. Leveraging open data for re-use has a high potential, especially in the creation and delivery of new products and services. Because of its potential, open data presents a remarkable opportunity to support organisations in their pursuit of a digital transformation. This event is particularly relevant to data.europa.eu as it underscores the critical role of data in shaping the future of European industry.
