Register now for our webinar ‘Data spaces: experience from the common European mobility data space’

Save the date on 19 July to learn more about data spaces and the railways sector

Join us on 19 July 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST for our webinar ‘Data spaces: experience from the common European mobility data space,’ to delve into the critical role of data interoperability and innovation in transportation. This event promises to offer valuable insights into the common European mobility data space (EMDS), with a particular emphasis on the railway sector.

The European Mobility Data Space is a key initiative under the European strategy to create a connected and integrated data economy. This space aims to enhance the interoperability of data systems, improve transportation efficiency, and promote innovation in mobility services. In the railway sector, the use of European Railway Agency (ERA) ontologies is crucial for standardising data and enabling seamless sharing among different stakeholders.

Our webinar will feature several key speakers, such as a representative of DG MOVE for a deep dive into the European Mobility Data Space; to be followed by the ERA discussing the specifics of the railway sector and ERA ontologies; ending up with a real-world example of deployEMDS project, the implementation project in the Flanders region, where you will see firsthand how regional perspectives can unleash the benefits of mobility data.

This event is targeted at mobility policymakers, industry stakeholders, academic researchers, educators, and the general public. Participants will gain insights into leveraging data spaces to improve transportation policies, enhance operational efficiency in the railway sector, and understand the broader impact of data sharing on mobility services.

Mark your calendars for 19 July from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST and join us for an informative discussion on the transformative potential of the European Mobility Data Space. Stay tuned for more updates and prepare to be inspired by the future of mobility data sharing.
