Sardinia initiates its first Open Data Contest

Starting four months of Open Data competition

The Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy) initiated its first Open Data Contest. Citizens, businesses and educational institutions are invited to submit projects that re-use at least one of the 800 available datasets on the Sardinian Open Data Portal.

Proposals can be submitted from October 2017 to January 2018 in four different categories: Applications, Visual representations, Data Driven Journalism Articles and Geographical data. Thematically, the contest welcomes submissions in the areas of Infrastructure and Transportation, Tourism and Sports, Environment, Health and Medical Services, as well as Education and Cultural Heritage.
