Open Data Week 2026 is an annual, community‑driven festival taking place 22 - 29 March 2026 across New York City and online, organised by the NYC Open Data Team at the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI), BetaNYC, and Data Through Design. The week‑long programme celebrates public data and marks the anniversary of NYC’s open data law, offering dozens of virtual and in‑person events where residents, civic technologists, researchers, designers and policymakers can engage with municipal open data. The week opens with Data Through Design’s annual art exhibition and concludes with BetaNYC’s NYC School of Data civic tech conference, providing a broad platform for learning, creative exploration and community collaboration around the use and impact of open data in the city.
