European Data Portal launches a new version of the website
On 2 May 2019, the European Data Portal was updated to offer new features to the user. One of the main new features is the implementation of a fully DCAT-AP native metadata catalogue, which makes it even easier for users to search for data. Some other features that were implemented are:
- Redesigned metadata catalogue and Metadata Quality Assurance (MQA)
- MQA uses SHACL validation for DCAT-AP compliance tests
- Drastically improved performance on all metadata related components (metadata catalogue, MQA)
- SPARQL-Manager supports asynchronous queries and notifies via mail if a query has finished
- Redesigned catalogue statistics page
- EU-login single sign on integration
More information about the new features of the website will be published as a Featured Highlight on the European Data Portal.
