The single most comprehensive city-wide data initiative for the happiest city on earth
The Dubai Data initiative, led by the Dubai Data Establishment and the Smart Dubai Office, decreed by the Dubai Data Law of 2015 is guiding the opening and sharing of city data across the public and private sector. Building on cooperation and collaboration, the initiative wants to facilitate cross-sector sharing.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is focusing on creating value out of Dubai Data: "Our aim is not to have the most data, but to unleash the greatest value from data, creating new opportunities and improved experiences for all." Dubai Data shall stimulate a new data economy for the city, unlocking opportunities and enriching quality of life for government departments, private organisations, investors, residents and visitors. In that way the Smart Dubai Office wants to make Dubai the happiest city on earth. Here you can find out more about Dubai Data.
