Flash Eurobarometer 443: e-Privacy
Description
The review of the "ePrivacy" Directive is one of the key initiatives aimed at reinforcing trust and security in digital services in the EU. As part of this review, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Network, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) commissioned this survey to assess the general opinions of citizens across the EU in relation to key issues that are part of online privacy, in particular privacy of communications, tracking over the Internet with cookies requiring permission/consent, unsolicited communications by e-mail or unwanted calls.
The results by volumes are distributed as follows:
- Volume A: Countries
- Volume AA: Groups of countries
- Volume A' (AP): Trends
- Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries
- Volume B: EU/socio-demographics
- Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics
