OpenTrials

OpenTrials is a database of clinical trials.

It aims to locate, match and share all publicly accessible data and documents, on all trials conducted – on all medicines and other treatments – globally.

The project is designed to increase transparency on the world’s clinical research trials and to improve access to research.

The intention is to create an open, freely re-usable index of all such information, to increase discoverability, facilitate research, identify inconsistent data, enable audits on the availability and completeness of this information, support advocacy for better data and drive standards around open data in evidence-based medicine.

The project, available in English, is still in its beta version.
