Have you ever spent time trawling through legal databases in search of a single regulation which, you hope, will provide an answer to a particular environmental issue? If so, you probably know by now that a single issue usually falls within the scope of several pieces of legislation. Usually, you need to take a whole range of documents into account just to answer one question.
Treesk helps you make this search easier and more effective.
Treesk is a legal application for substantive work on environmental regulations. It was created by Polish lawyers for people working on environmental cases and regulations, such as lawyers, consultants and the business community.
Unlike a conventional legal database, Treesk provides ready-to-use sets of European and Polish legislation covering any environmental topic you care to mention. It shows the hierarchy of legal acts, legal loopholes, overlapping areas and any contradictions that may exist. You can access all this information via a user-friendly one-page window.
Treesk enables you to search all publicly accessible sources of legal information on the environment, whether Polish or EU-level, including EUR-Lex; Curia, the European Court of Justice's database of EU case law; non-binding policies and materials from the European Commission's DG Environment; and reports and materials drafted and published by the European Environmental Agency.
Finally, it is also a growing legal database of environmental case studies.
