The Closing Conference of the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education 2025, titled 'The Way Forward', will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 18 - 19 November, bringing together a diverse community of educators, policymakers, youth representatives, researchers, and civil society actors. Co-organised by the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Education of Slovenia, the event marks the culmination of a year-long initiative dedicated to advancing digital citizenship across Europe.

Over two days, participants will celebrate the achievements of the European Year, engage in strategic discussions around the draft roadmap for 2027 - 2031, and explore creative expressions of digital citizenship. The conference offers a unique opportunity to reflect on progress, share insights, and shape the future of digital citizenship education across Europe.
