The 2nd Lecce Open Data Contest
A competition of ideas
The Municipality of Lecce organises the 2nd Lecce Open Data Contest. The contest is a competition of ideas designed to foster the development of applications aiming at facilitating access to the public information assets of the platform dati.comune.lecce.it.
The goal of the initiative is to engage all communities and networks of developers and digital activists in a collective intelligence path increasing the quantity and quality of information services for citizens.
In particular, the 2nd Lecce Open Data Contest requires that the participants focus their creativity on two different categories of data reuse:
- Dashboard: construction of a public dashboard, powered by Open Data published in the municipal Open Data catalogue, which enhances ??the datasets by means of dynamic and interactive data visualization.
- Application: use the datasets to develop applications for the city of Lecce and the Salento area, with particular reference to the topics of culture and tourism, mobility, "experiencing the city", economic and productive development.
The Applications and the Dashboards developed in the framework of the 2nd Lecce Open Data Contest will be assessed by a jury.
